Tamra Anderson

Hi my name is Tamra Anderson I would like to take a little time to introduce myself.  I have been teaching for over ten years as a pre-school teacher and now an elementary teacher.  I started my teaching career in Hawaii after graduating from Chaminade University where I got my B.S degree in Elementary.

My husband was in the Navy and we frequently moved, because of this I have taught in Hawaii, Maine and Washington State before moving to Idaho upon my husband’s retirement from the Navy.

I have been teaching in Boise for 5 years most of that time at Liberty Elementary, two years in Kindergarten and three years in the second grade classroom.  I recently earned a Master’s degree from The American College of Education in Curriculum and Instruction.

I have three children, my youngest daughter will attend Maple Grove and is in the third grade and our oldest daughter is pursuing careers in Biology and my son is  a pilot in the Navy .  As both a Military brat growing up and a spouse of a military member it is nice to finally settle down and stay in one place.

When not in school our family is kept busy enjoying the great  outdoors, traveling and taking care of our mini-farm which includes a large garden, a couple of acreages that I’m slowly filling up with animals of all kinds.

I want to make this a successful year for both you and your child. Working together as a team and having open communication will is vital to a successful year so, if you have any concerns or questions please do not hesitate to email or call me.

I am very excited and look forward to getting to know you and your child.

Sincerely,

Tamra Anderson
